A closed order of mystics and ascetics, The Willow Palm have largely remained apart from the rest of society since the settlement of Elan and the establishment of their monstary at The Remembered Mountain. Only a few of the initiated have any contact with the outside world, and any that pass out through its gates may never return again, nor may they speak of what wonders lie within.
The monastry was established by a great githyanki monk named Lowly Worm who took an active part in the founding of Fortuna. Fifty years ago he announced his retirement from political life and as a reward, The Palace of Voices made a gift to him of The Remembered Mountain - the southermost point of the nation, along with sufficient resources to build a place of learning and a reflection - in accordance with his wishes.
